Why is school and education important? School is important because if you want to have a good job, you have to go to school. There are five types of schools I know: pre-school,elementary school, middle school, high school, and college. At pre-school you learn how to behave at school. Usually, pre-schoolers play all day, have lunch, take naps, and leave earlier than at the older schools. At elementary school, you learn the basics of reading and writing. Grades include kindergarten - 4th grade. Usually, at elementary schools, kids play on playgrounds for recess, have a lunch and a snack,and leave at aruond2:30 to 3:15. At middle school, kids learn about history about things and more things about important reading and writing skills. Grades range from 5th to 8th grade. Usually, kids have lunch, leave around 3:30 to 3:15, and, usually, they do not have recess, but at our school, we do. Anyways,(since I do not know a lot about the other kinds of schools,)school is important to me because it would help me get a better chance of getting a job. also, if we didn't have school, we wouldn't be able to speak because no one would understand each other. People wouldn't have any houses with out cutting down the wood because no one would have no saws are know how to make them. Plus, if you do not know the measure ments to make out how tall to make the house, or how wide to make the house. Z. F.
