Darth Paper Strikes Back: By Tom Angleburger

The book Darth Paper Strikes Back is about a kid named Tommy and his friend Dwight Tharp who go to McQuarrie Middle School. This is a sequel to The Strange Case of Origami Yoda. Dwight is a little weird, because he carries around an origami Yoda puppet on his finger. This is no ordinary finger puppet. People think Dwight or Origami Yoda use The Force to help people solve their problems. This time Dwight is the one in trouble. Another person in Tommy's grade, Harvey, chooses to get Dwight in trouble. Harvey makes his own puppet, Darth Paper. The Board of Education could send Dwight away. Can Tommy figure out how to save Dwight? Can Tommy save Dwight from the B.O.E.? You'll have to read the book. This book is filled with suspense and humor. I give this book five stars and suggest it to ages 10 to 12.

Book review of The Puppy Sister by Anzhela Page

Wow! The Puppy Sister, written by S.E Hinton, is so exciting and fun to read. The author draws you right into this fantasy in which a boy gets a puppy that transforms into his sister. The story is told from the point of view of the puppy. This makes the story very interesting and funny.
The puppy’s name is Aleasha. She is taken home by the Davidson family, and lives with Nick and his mom and dad. Aleasha likes her new family, but she really wants to be human. Day by day she keeps changing more and more into a person. Her family is very surprised, but they try to help her get used to things. By the end of the story, she is a little girl who feels happy because she is part of the family.
The Puppy Sister is a wonderful book full of adventure and humor. The reader can visualize the story in his or her mind. I think this is a book that you will never forget!

Fall

I love Fall! Fall is when the leaves come down and the leaves change color.
You can rake up the leaves in a pile and you can jump right into the leaves.
You can go outside and play games or card games. You could look for certain
leaves.

Fall is such a time! You could hide a leaf and ask someone to find it.
